Officials at the American Red Cross of Central Massachusetts have seen such an overwhelming response for a seminar set for this Friday to discuss how businesses can prepare for the swine flu that they've moved the event to a larger venue.
The seminar will be held at Leominster City Hall, located at 25 West St. in Leominster, on Friday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Business leaders can register to attend by calling the Red Cross at 508-595-3700.
The seminar will discuss how businesses can help prevent their workers from getting sick, and how businesses can prepare for a large number of workers to be out sick for an extended period of time because of the virus.
Nicole Valentine, spokesperson for the American Red Cross of Central Massachusetts, said the organization was going to hold the seminar in their office's conference room, but more than 70 business leaders have registered, forcing them to move the event to the auditorium of Leominster City Hall.
