Westborough biotechnology firm Miach Orthopaedics, Inc. has named Michael McNulty its new vice president of sales and marketing.

McNulty will lead the private company’s commercialization and sales push for its Bridge-Enhanced ACL repair implant. The technology is an alternative to conventional ACL reconstruction and is only available in ongoing clinical trials approved by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration.

McNulty has more than 20 years of experience in the medical device field, having most recently worked as senior director of sales in the Biologics Division at British multinational Smith & Nephew following the company’s acquisition of Minnesota shoulder implant maker Rotation Medical.
