State To Announce Grant Program In Worcester

State officials will be in Worcester Nov. 4 to announce the establishment of a state grant fund for workplace-based adult education and English proficiency programs.
State Secretary of Labor and Workforce Development Suzanne Bump and state Secretary of Education Paul Reville will plan to announce the formation of the fund Nov. 4 at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
The fund will be dedicated to supporting workplace-based adult education and English proficiency programs. The fund will provide grants that support classes within those programs.
Bump and Reville are scheduled to make the announcement at 2:30 p.m.
