Stratus Gets Into Electronic Medical Records

Stratus Technologies Inc. of Maynard has struck an agreement with a new partner to sell Stratus medical-grade computer servers.
Stratus has partnered with Canton-based Pulse Systems Inc. , which sells electronic health record systems and medical practice management software, according to Stratus officials.
More and more hospitals and other health care companies are switching from paper-based records to all electronic record keeping.
Stratus, which has been in business for 28 years, provides servers for manufacturing, life sciences, telecommunications, financial services, public safety, transportation and logistics, as well as medical customers.
