Two Worcesterites Join Civil Rights Committee
The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights has named Eva A. Millona and David Schaefer of Worcester to its Massachusetts State Advisory Committee.
The commission researches civil rights issues and advises the president and Congress. Congress has directed the commission to establish advisory committees in all 50 states and Washington, D.C.
Millona is the executive director at the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition. Schaeffer is a professor of political science at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester.
