Verint partners with EMC

Verint Systems Inc., a Melville, N.Y.-based software company, has partnered with data storage company EMC Corp. of Hopkinton to deliver networked video management and storage products to the security market, the company said.
Under terms of the deal, Verint will resell EMC storage systems and content management software as part of its own integrated video management product for the physical security market.
The two companies also entered into a technology agreement that that will enable both to test and certify new products and technologies more efficiently, according to Verint.
EMC also said that it plans to implement Verint video management software at its corporate headquarters in Hopkinton.
