We are no longer accepting nominations for the WBJ Story Pitch Contest. Check back to cast your vote!
Ever look at a newspaper and say, "Geez, have I got a story that belongs on page one." Well, here's your chance to play editor!
The rules of the WBJ Story Pitch Contest are simple: We want you to tell us your stories, and then we want you to tell us which stories deserve to be profiled by the WBJ editorial staff exclusively online at WBJournal.com.
Tell us your business story! Maybe your company has grown from two to 200 employees in two years. Or maybe your firm has just landed a huge national account. Or maybe you've made a dramatic career switch and are struggling to launch your new business. The only requirement is that your business MUST be based in Central Massachusetts and you must be willing to have your story told.
The pitch contest is a special promotion to conincide with Inside WBJ, our new blog that gives readers a behind-the-scenes look at how we put together the newspaper and web site, WBJournal.com.
Click here to fill out an online form hosted on WBJournal.com to tell us your company's story. Be as detailed as possible and remember, it's the readers of the Worcester Business Journal that will tell us which stories should be profiled by our editorial staff. The deadline to submit your company's story is August 22.
We'll post edited versions of all the nominations on WBJournal.com as they come in. Then, we'll turn it over to the readers and ask them to tell us which stories they want to see profiled exclusively on WBJournal.com.
Submit your story today!
