Chick-fil-A said its inaugural Central Massachusetts store in Westborough will employ at least 80.

The Atlanta-based fast food chain said its stand-alone Speedway Plaza location will offer patio dining, interior seating for 135, dual drive-through ordering lanes, free WiFi and an indoor play area for children. The store is slated to open in early October, according to RK Centers, which owns the property at 286 Turnpike Rd.

The Chick-fil-A will be operated by Mike Lawson, who graduated from Clark University and worked in the car rental business.

Chick-fil-A will give away 52 free meals to each of the first 100 adults in line on opening day.

Westborough will be the company’s second stand-alone New England location; the first opened in Chicopee earlier this year.
