Westborough co. acquired by Illinois systems provider
A Westborough systems integration solutions provider was bought by an Illinois company for an undisclosed amount last week and will be able to expand its footprint, according to the purchasing company.
Go Security Solutions, a systems integrator that specializes in electronic access control, video surveillance, alarm systems, and mechanical security solutions in Westborough, was bought by Convergint Technologies of Schaumburg, Ill., a systems integration provider. The acquisition is Convergint’s seventh this year.
According to Dan Moceri, executive chairman and co-founder of Convergint Technologies, Convergint was impressed by Go Security Solutions’ growth and its customer-centric approach to business. The partnership will allow Go Security Solutions to expand its reach across New England and beyond, said Gary Osterhout, the company’s president.
