Worcester co. introduces energy, diet sprays

Worcester-based Generex Biotechnology Corp., a developer of drug delivery systems, said it launched an instant energy spray and a fat-free glucose spray.

The energy spray is called BaBoom, and is said to enhance energy levels for sports, work, study and travel. The spray is also effective in overcoming overall fatigue, the company said.

The spray is made of glucose, caffeine, ginseng and vitamins, the company said, and could help Generex get in on the $3 billion energy product business.

GlucoBreak, the company's glucose spray, is a fat-free spray "used as an aid for diets," the company said. The product is aimed at the $55 billion weight loss market.

The spray "is used between meals as part of a daily diet routine, during exercise and before bedtime," the company said.
