Work/Life Balance: Somebody Else's Problem
Business leaders see their own mix of work and personal life as balanced, but they can't say the same for others in business.
That's the finding of a survey by NFI Research of Madbury, N.H. The survey of 228 senior executives and managers found that 71 percent of respondents think most people are "extremely unbalanced" or "somewhat unbalanced" in the way they handle their work and home lives. When it comes to their own lives, 55 percent of the respondents said they are "extremely balanced" or "somewhat balanced."
The study found the same results for the leaders of companies of all sizes.
