Ginny's Helping Hand, Inc., a food pantry and thrift shop located on Mechanic Street dedicated to providing a “Hand Up” to those in need, will hold its Second Annual Murder Mystery Dinner and Silent Auction on Saturday, September 26, at 6 p.m. at Great Wolf Lodge, 150 Great Wolf Road, Fitchburg.
The event will feature the murder mystery performance, “A High School Reunion…with a Deadly Twist,” presented by Brickroad Productions. In addition to an interactive mystery experience, a cocktail reception, dinner and silent auction will be provided.
Tickets are $85 per person or $650 per table. All ticket sales and sponsorships will benefit the organization’s programs and services, which include providing groceries for more than 1,800 households and 5,000 individuals every month.
This year’s event is in partnership with the North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce Community Leadership Institute Class of 2025, which selected Ginny’s as their community beneficiary.

Dance with us for free on the plaza! Step out of the office and onto the dance floor!
Come join us on the Carroll Plaza for a fun and unique outdoor dancing experience. Worcester Salsa instructors – Ray Gonzalez and Rebeccah Sonn will lead participants in vibrant Salsa classes where everybody is welcome!
The first hour of class will be instructional and is perfect for beginners. There are no partners required as we rotate all the leaders and followers. It’s a great way for everyone to get connected with the dancing! Experienced dancers are encouraged to join this first hour as well, to help with some instruction as well as to just have fun. The second hour of class will be more free form dancing, using the skills that were just learned to put everything into practice.
Folks are welcome to join at anytime during the class and jump in! Whether you’ve been dancing for years or just want to try it out please join us on the Plaza and have a Salsa experience that is ALIVE AND KICKING!
NOTE: The class on Sunday September 28 will take place immediately before The Hanover Theatre welcomes Los Angeles Azules to our Main Stage. Come dance and then enjoy the show!
Decisions regarding weather cancellations will be made by 6 pm the day before and posted to the event page.

Salsa Worcester is a local Latin dance company that has been teaching in the community for 20 years. Ray and Rebeccah teach with a relaxed instructional format that makes Salsa dancing fun to learn.
