PETE OLIVER of Sandler Training/SaleFish LLC, a Marlborough-based sales and management training and consulting firm, earned the Sandler Training Diamond Award for 2014. The honor is given to Sandler franchises that exceed a certain sales volume.
PETER GARDNER was chosen for the 2014 Westborough Good Scout Award, which will be presented Nov. 10 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Westborough. Gardner, a resident of Westborough, is president of Curry Printing, based in Westborough.
TOM CAREY, president of Jamie Oil of Ashland, received the Bethany 2014 Outstanding Community Service Award at the Framingham health care facility's annual golf tournament. He was honored for his support of Bethany Health Care Center, local sports teams, churches and other local programs and causes.
OMNI CONTROL TECHNOLOGY of Ashland had its Quality Management System certified to conform to the International Quality System Standard ISO 9001: 2008 in its contract manufacturing of control panels and systems.
WORCESTER ENVELOPE CO. of Auburn was recently honored by the state and federal governments for its injury and illness prevention programs. The company received a “Sharp Flag,” which recognizes small businesses that operate such programs. The award was presented by Massachusetts Labor and Workforce Development Secretary Rachel Kaprielian to company owners Eldon Pond III and Scott Waterhouse.
