Activists plan downtown anti-coal rally

A group of activists says it will gather outside the Front Street branch of Bank of America in downtown Worcester at 4:30 p.m. today "to demand that the bank stop financially supporting mountaintop removal coal mining in Appalachia."

Organizers of the demonstration say "dozens of concerned students and citizen activists" plan to take part in the "act of resistance." They say it's wrong for Bank of America to "use your money to invest in the most destructive and polluting industries."
