BlueHive Exhibits, a Worcester-based manufacturer of custom trade show exhibits, has expanded through the acquisition of Texas-based MYDISPLAYSOURCE.

The integration of MYDISPLAYSOURCE will bring aboard the firm’s clients in the technology and security sectors and provide expanded resources to BlueHive, according to a press release announcing the acquisition on Wednesday.

“This collaboration represents a powerful step forward in our continued growth,” Caitlyn Correia, president and CEO of BlueHive Exhibits, said in the press release. “We share a strong alignment in culture, dependability, and passion for the industry, and MYDISPLAYSOURCE brings deep expertise that will enhance our team and strengthen the service we deliver to clients.”

Correia in 2024 took over ownership of Blue Hive, a family-run business her father founded.

MYDISPLAYSOURCE was founded in 2008, according to its LinkedIn page.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. MYDISPLAYSOURCE will sunset its operations moving forward, with some employees joining BlueHive.

Founded in 2005, BlueHive has facilities in Worcester and Las Vegas and international partners in South America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.

Eric Casey is the managing editor at Worcester Business Journal, who primarily covers the manufacturing and real estate industries.
