Acton-Based SeaChange Completes Sale Of Division
SeaChange International Inc. of Acton, a multi-screen video software innovator, announced it has completed the sale of its broadcast server and storage business to a new, independent company XOR Media.
SeaChange CEO Raghu Rau said that, with the completion of the sale, SeaChange can focus on its core software and services operations, including its next-generation back office, video streamers, gateway software and advertising software.
Rau said XOR will utilize the same team and processes from SeaChange.
XOR plans to launch new open, cloud-capable and media-optimized servers and storage.
