Acton Firm Reports Growth Despite Economy

Acton-based eIQnetworks Inc. said an expanded leadership team, technology improvements and a steady stream of new customers resulted in a sizeable sales increase for its 2009 fiscal year.

The privately-held security and compliance management firm said signing customers like Western Union and the U.S. Naval War College had increased sales by 60 percent for the year.

The company worked with Northrup Grumman, Qwest and Red River as strategic partners and upgraded its management system to include a broader set of data for customers.

The company hired security industry veteran Jim Geary as its president, Mike Rothman as senior vice president of strategy and chief marketing officer and Mike Sullivan as CFO during the year.
