Adams To Leave Mass Tech Collaborative

In the latest shakeup of state quasi-public agencies, Massachusetts Technology Collaborative head Mitch Adams announced he is stepping down after a decade on the job.

In the past few months MassDevelopment President Robert Culver and MassPort CEO Thomas Kinton both announced they would be leaving as well.

MTC manages three programs including the John Adams Innovation Institute, the Massachusetts e-Health Institute and the Massachusetts Broadband Institute.

The MTC also used to manage the Renewable Energy Trust, which gave grants out to green-energy projects around the state, but that program is now managed by the state's Clean Energy Center.

Adams will stay on until a successor is named.
