Clark To Offer Alternative Investment Courses

Clark University's Graduate School of Management will be the first business school in the country to partner with an organization that gives alternative investment certifications.
Students at Clark's business school will now have an opportunity to do more than half of the required work to receive certification from the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association, which is a nonprofit organization based in Amherst.
Alternative investments include private equity, hedge funds, real estate and commodity investments.
To receive a certification, students must pass two levels of examinations. Other business schools in Montreal, Canada, and in Switzerland offer similar alternative investment courses.
