An e-Prescription first
The Electronic Healthcare Network Accreditation Commission, a Farmington-based nonprofit, said it has given its first accreditation for an electronic drug-prescription network to RxHub of St. Paul, Minnesota. To earn the accreditation, RxHub submitted to an in-depth independent evaluation of its ability to securely transmit health information across its e-Prescribing network. EHNAC accredits agencies that send or receive HIPAA-regulated information.
