BJ's redesigns mobile app

BJ's has changed its nearly two-year-old mobile phone app.
Coming up on two years since it unveiled a mobile app, BJ's Wholesale Club is overhauling the feature.
Westborough-based BJ's has added a My BJ's area to the app showing members their annual savings, local gas prices, previous orders and gas savings they've earned. Members of the company's perks program can see how much they need to spend to reach their next award.
The app now includes a digital version of a membership card and makes it easier for shoppers to check on picking up an online order, the company said. BJ's said the app has been downloaded more than 2 million times and used for more than 200 million digital coupons.
