Caroline’s Cannabis receives final license for Hopedale shop

Caroline’s Cannabis in Uxbridge, the first woman-owned small business cannabis shop to open in Massachusetts, received final licensure from the state Cannabis Control Commission on Sept. 17 to move forward with plans to open a second adult-use location in Hopedale.
Caroline’s, owned by Caroline Frankel, opened its flagship location in March 2019 and was among the first dispensaries to open in Massachusetts.
Frankel did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Tuesday about the planned expansion.
Caroline’s website advertises the Hopedale location as opening in fall of this year. According to CCC documents, the dispensary will be located at 4 Charlesview Road.
