The Colleges of Worcester Consortium Inc. has elected Quinsigamond Community College President Gail Carberry as board chair, and Anna Maria College President Jack Calareso as vice chair.
Rev. Michael C. McFarland, president of the College of the Holy Cross, moves from chair to past chair of the board.
Timothy R. Austin, vice president for academic affairs and dean of the college at Holy Cross, was picked as clerk and chair of the chief academic officers committee. Jacqueline D. Peterson, Holy Cross vice president for student affairs and dean of students, becomes chair of the chief student affairs officers committee. Annmarie Samar, associate vice president for enrollment management at Worcester State College, was picked as chair of the higher education access and retention committee.
All appointments are for two years, starting July 1.
