Shaun M. Martin, managing director of Huron Consulting Group in Boston, has been elected to the board of directors of Commerce Bank, as well as the boards of Commerce Bancshares and 1-800-East-West Mortgage Co.
Since joining Huron Consulting Group in 2006, Martin has represented boards and management teams of companies in a wide range of industries, negotiating financing arrangements, divesting businesses and holding executive management roles.
He previously served as principal of Glass & Associates in New York, N.Y., director of special projects at Fisher Scientific International Inc. in Hampton, N.H., and senior vice president, treasurer and secretary at Kaiser Group International Inc. in Fairfax, VA.
A resident of Paxton, Martin earned a bachelor of business administration degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
