Consigli Awarded $52M Logan Garage Project
Milford-based Consigli Construction Co. Inc. has been awarded a $52 million Massport contract for the renovation of the Terminal B garage at Logan Airport in Boston.
The multi-phase, 42-month project will begin this month and requires Consigli to make infrastructure upgrades to the garage and surrounding roadway while allowing for full access to arrival and departure gates.
Outside the garage, Consigli will upgrade the roadway that surrounds the garage so that it may better support heavier loads. That portion of the project also includes environmental upgrades and the installation of three new oil/water separators.
Inside the garage, Consigli will tackle multiple structural repairs, including new expansion joints, new girders, column and slab repairs and new waterproofing. The project also calls for the removal of the garage's existing lighting system and its replacement by energy efficient lighting.
