Boston-based Massachusetts Community Development Finance Corp. has named Robert Rosen as its new Central Massachusetts loan officer. Prior to coming to CDFC, Rosen was the vice president of commercial lending at the North Shore Bank in Peabody. He has more than 20 years of experience in commercial lending, having held similar positions at Heritage Co-operative Bank in Salem, the Gloucester Bank and Trust Co. in Gloucester, and the Bank of New England, also in Gloucester. CDFC is a quasi-public corporation created to help small businesses access capital that might not be available from traditional lenders.

Clinton Savings Bank has hired Indu Saxena as branch manager for its Bolton location. Saxena most recently worked as a business development and branch manager for TD Banknorth in Holliston. Prior to that, she served

in other management positions with TD Banknorth and Citizens Bank

Davis Advertising, headquartered in Worcester, has hired Bruce Mendelsohn as vice president of client services. Oxford-based Hometown Bank has appointed Sharon Dimopoulos manager of its Oxford branch. She joined Hometown Bank as a mortgage underwriter in January 2003 and has served in a variety of positions before being named assistant branch manager. Mary LeBlanc has been promoted from customer service associate to assistant manager of the Oxford branch. LeBlanc joined the bank in 1992 as a part-time teller at the Webster branch, and has worked as both a receptionist and customer service representative.

Dr. Stephen Pezzella has been appointed by the board of trustees of Worcester-based Fallon Clinic. For the past year, he has served as the group practice's acting president and CEO, a role he will continue to fill. As chairman, Pezzella will coordinate the board's activities, spearhead the practice's executive search activities, and ensure that Fallon Clinic's legacy of community leadership and support continues.

Natick-based Boston Scientific Corp. named Sam Leno chief financial officer and executive vice president of finance and information systems. Leno was CFO and executive vice president of finance and corporate services for Zimmer Holdings Inc. in Warsaw, Ind. Leno replaces Larry Best, Boston Scientific's long-time CFO, who plans to retire from the company in July.

Kathy LeCour has earned an associate in insurance account management designation from the Massachusetts Association of Insurance Agents. Lecour is an account executive in the employee benefits division at Sturbridge-based McGrath Insurance Group Inc. and has been with the agency since 2001. The agency also announced that Suzanne Harlinski of Fiskdale has joined the agency as an assistant commercial lines account representative. She previously served as convention planning manager for the Sturbridge Host Hotel; project manager, event marketing services for Nth Degree, Inc. in Sudbury, and corporate catering manager for DoubleTree Guest Suites in Waltham. Kristene St. Peter has joined the agency as a personal lines account representative. She previously served as a personal lines account executive with Insurance Marketing Agencies Inc. in Worcester.

Diligent Technologies Corp. in Framingham has hired Peter O'Brien as vice president of business development. O'Brien was most recently vice president of business development at Fremont, Calif.-based Mendocino Software where he secured OEM deals with EMC and HP and established channel sales. He has also held executive positions at SUN Microsystems.

Worcester-based FMG Financial Services Inc. has hired Bart Lawless as a financial management advisor. He comes to FMG from a major banking institution where he served as vice president, responsible for initiating the insurance and investment departments.

Edmond Perry has joined Athol Savings Bank as branch manager of the main office in Athol. He previously worked as branch operations manager at Marlborough Co-Operative Bank and assistant branch manager for Citizens Bank. Patrick Harvey has also joined the bank as branch manager

in the Barre office. Harvey previously worked for Southbridge Savings Bank as a branch manager. Brenda Methe has been promoted to accounting officer. She joined the bank in 1985 and most recently served as accounting manager. Lisa Osborne has been promoted to assistant branch administrator. She joined the bank in 1993 and has held several positions, including branch manager and community banking officer. Michelle Edson has been promoted to community banking officer.
