Worcester's Davis Advertising has hired a new copywriter, Lisa Malo, and a media buyer, Kelly Belmont.
Malo, a Worcester native, previously helped sell costumes and props for an online and catalog Halloween retailer. She has experience producing catalog copy, writing for search engine optimization and developing product packaging, among other things.
Malo has a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication.
Belmont has worked in advertising on both the sales and buying sides, including stints with Zenith Media and Leo Burnett/Starcom. She also honed her acting and improv skills as a student at the famous Second City Conservatory in Chicago.
Belmont, a graduate of the University of Dayton in Ohio, now lives in Worcester with her spouse, Stacey.
