EMC Reports Record Quarter, Year

Hopkinton-based EMC Corp. reported fourth quarter net income of $525 million on revenue of $3.83 billion, respective increases of 33 percent and 19 percent over 2006.
Total consolidated revenue for EMC’s full 2007 fiscal year was $13 billion, 19 percent more than the $11 billion it reported in the 2006 fiscal year.
Net income for 2007 was $1.7 billion, 43 percent more than earnings reported for 2006.
