Enrich Therapeutics secures $320K in seed funding

Biotech company Enrich Therapeutics Inc. of Worcester and Groton, Conn., has secured $320,000 in seed funding, the two-year-old company announced on Friday.

The funding round was led by venture capital firm Connecticut Innovations, as well as from angel investors Boston Harbor Angels and Teich Technology Investment of Berlin, according to the announcement. Funding will go toward supporting Enrich proprietary single cell isolation platform.

Enrich Therapeutics develops single cell isolation platforms funded by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, intended to enhance biomedical research at the true single cell level. The company is focused on isolating single clones from any physiologically relevant scenario, according to a press release.

Enrich is part of the Worcester incubator Massachusetts Biomedical Initiatives.
