Flash Poll: A lift from GE? Absolutely
It's hardly bad news when a company decides to move into your backyard, bringing with it the promise of jobs and an economic boost to the region. Last month's announcement by General Electric's health care and life sciences division to move its headquarters to Marlborough, bringing with it more than 500 jobs, is being hailed as a boost for the health care and life sciences industries throughout Central Massachusetts, as well as higher education. In last week's Flash Poll, voters agreed.
