Food carries BJ's in Oct.

BJ's Wholesale Club Inc. members bought food and office supplies to boost the company's October sales by 9.2 percent compared to last year.
The company said same-store sales increased 4.8 percent for the month. Last October, BJ's same store sales slid by 0.7 percent.
The Natick-based company said October sales totaled $663.8 million. Food sales were up by about 5 percent, while general merchandise sales were flat, the company said.
