Framingham Co-op Buys Chamber A Defibrillator

The Framingham Co-operative Bank Charitable Foundation has given $1,500 to the MetroWest Chamber of Commerce Educational Foundation for the purchase of a portable defibrillator.

The chamber said the device would make it easier for the chamber to respond to emergencies during chamber events. About 3,000 people attend chamber events each year.

In its most recent round of funding, the Framingham Co-operative Charitable Foundation has awarded more than $64,000 to various community charitable groups. Since it was established in 1998, the foundation has awarded more than $1.5 million.
