J.F. White Contracting Co. is moving its Framingham headquarters down the road from its current location at 10 Burr St. to 111 Speen St., another Framingham property about a three-minute drive away.
The relocation, expected to occur in the first quarter, will see J.F. White occupy 24,702 square feet in the building, which also serves as the headquarters for energy resiliency firm Ameresco, according to a Monday press release from Worcester-based Kelleher & Sadowsky Associates.
Since acquiring the 135,000-square-foot, Class A office building in 2022, Boston-based Paradigm Properties and partner North Colony Asset Management of Cambridge have invested $5 million in the property, whose tenants also include AI3 Architects and a Workbar co-working location. Improvements at the site include a new exterior envelope and redesigned main entryway.
J.F. White occupies 26,988 square feet of space at 10 Burr St., according to real estate data firm CoStar.
Founded in 1924, J.F. White has participated in the construction of Fitchburg’s Arthur J. DiTommaso Memorial Bridge and the modernization of the Terminal E at Logan International Airport, according to its website.
Phil DeSimone, Andrew Sherman, and Ross Miner of Kelleher & Sadowsky in Worcester represented the landlord in the transaction.
