Gardner Hospital Opens Vascular Center

Heywood Hospital in Gardner has launched a heart center in collaboration with the UMass Memorial Health Care Heart Vascular Center of Excellence.
The partnership will expand cardiac services in Central Massachusetts by using resources at the UMass Center to support the center in Gardner.
Heywood is affiliated with UMass Memorial Health Care.
Hospital officials are hoping the new heart center will soon have a new home. Construction of a 72,000 square-foot addition is expected to be complete at Heywood this fall.
