Gov. Deval Patrick recently nominated Patrick J. Malone as clerk magistrate of the Fitchburg District Court and Gerald A. Lemire as clerk magistrate of the Uxbridge District Court.
Malone is a partner in the Leominster firm Gazourian & Malone. Over the past 15 years he has worked in criminal defense, real estate, business, domestic relations and personal injury. He is special prosecutor for the Office of the District Attorney's Middle District, and he serves as a contract negotiator for Hewlett-Packard.
Malone received his bachelor's degree from Fitchburg State College and his law degree from Massachusetts School of Law. He lives in Leominster with his wife and two children.
Lemire has operated a general litigation practice in Uxbridge since 1998. He represents individuals and small businesses in both criminal and civil matters and also handles real estate issues for lender. He previously served as an assistant district attorney in Worcester and as chief of staff and legal counsel to the state Senate's Committee on Public Service.
Lemire has a bachelor's degree from Assumption College and a law degree from New England School of Law. He lives in Uxbridge with his wife and newborn daughter.
