Framingham-based Global Technology Systems released a universal, two-way radio charging case intended to help emergency responders in the field.
GTS said its emergency operations case is able to simultaneously charge devices of different sizes and shapes, and is AC/DC compatible. The company said nearly 60 percent of public safety team radios are unable to last a full shift.
“Public safety teams experience emergency situations and special events that require the flexibility to put chargers where they need them and run them with whatever power is available to them,” Scott Benezra, vice president of GTS North American Sales, said in a statement.
GTS said the charging case is water-resistant, crush-proof and able to operate in extreme temperatures.
