It was good to be a Keller Williams Realty agent last year.

For the fourth consecutive year, its Worcester, Leominster, and Westborough offices were among the top five residential real estate shops with the biggest sales volume in Worcester County.

The data, from the MLS Property Information Network in Shrewsbury, calculated total sales of single- and multi-family homes, and condominiums for all of 2019. The dollar amounts includes sales of properties listed and sold and homes not listed but sold.

Keller’s Worcester office was No. 1 with $212 million in sales. The company’s Leominster office was third with $92 million, and the Westborough office came in fourth with nearly $78 million in sales.

Skip Tebo, Keller Williams Realty’s owner, said he's not surprised by the company's strong showing.

"The real estate is a business is nothing more than an agent having success through their sphere, not ours," he said. "What we do differently than any other company is we help support our agents in their efforts to build a business and we teach them how to fish for that business. We provide strategies on how to help more people. Without the real estate agent, the real estate company is nothing."

Coldwell Banker Residential rounded out the top five. It’s Worcester office was No. 2 with $108 million in sales, and Leominster came in fifth with nearly $78 million in volume.

Coldwell COO Erminio Grasso did not return a call seeking comment.

A look at the end of year volume in the region comes as sales of single-family homes through November, the most recent data available from The Warren Group, fell by 1.3% in Worcester County compared to 2018, as condo sales dropped by 3.5%.

While sales slipped, median prices continued to rise. The median price of a single-family home rose to $290,000, a 5.5% rise compared to a year ago. Condo prices were up compared to a year ago by 8.4% to $222,222
