Maine-based clothing retailer L.L.Bean will open its third Central Massachusetts location in Framingham this November.
Located at 84 Worcester Road in Framingham, the roughly 20,000-square-foot store is hiring 85 new employees, including full- and part-time positions across a variety of roles. Employees can expect flexible schedules, competitive pay, perks, and an employee discount, according to an L.L.Bean press release on Tuesday. Applications are now open here.
“Framingham’s location in the heart of MetroWest makes it an ideal spot for our newest retail store,” Greg Elder, chief retail officer at L.L.Bean, said in the press release. “It will allow us to more conveniently serve our area customers with our outdoor-inspired, four-season assortment of apparel and footwear.”
Two other L.L.Bean locations operate in Central Massachusetts: one store is located at The Shops at Blackstone Valley in Millbury, and the other at The Shops at Highland Commons in Hudson, near the town’s border with Berlin.
L.L.Bean is an outdoor lifestyle brand based out of Freeport, Maine, where it was founded in 1912. The company is looking for a new CEO after Stephen Smith, the first non-family CEO of the firm, stepped down after 10 years in July, as reported by MaineBiz.
