Make nice, be productive
Befriending the person seated next to you can make your work day happier and more productive, according to a new survey by Accountemps. Nearly 63 percent of workers and 57 percent of bosses said that office productivity is higher when coworkers are friends outside of the office. About a quarter of workers and bosses surveyed said on-the-job friendships had no effect on productivity.
