The Marlborough Economic Development Corp. will host a business innovation summit on Sept. 22 to showcase new technologies that businesses in the region have created.
Worcester law firm Mirick O'Connell is sponsoring the inaugural event, which will include the presentation of an award for business innovation to a company that best demonstrates the commercialization of a technology. Nominations for the award are being accepted by Brian Dingman, partner/chair intellectual property at Mirick O'Connell, at bdingman@mirickoconnell.com.
Other topics discussed at the conference will include intellectual property law, protecting trade secrets and finding venture capital funding.
