Maynard Firm Buys California Company

SANBlaze Technology Inc., a Maynard-based computer technology firm, has purchased Emtech LLC, a California company that produces similar computer components for embedded technologies.
Both companies are privately held, so no financial information related to the sale is public information, but the transaction closed effective July 7, according to SANBlaze.
SANBlaze makes storage, networking and other component features for embedded computers, which are used in telecommunication and defense systems. It was founded in 2003 and now has about 20 employees.
Emtech's sales and integration services will become a division of SANBlaze, the company said.
