Medway's Cybex Says Market Stabilizing

Cybex International Inc., a Medway-based exercise equipment manufacturer, said it lost $15,000 on $29.2 million in sales during the third quarter.

In the same period a year ago, the company made a profit of $81,000 on sales of $29 million.

The company said the quarter continued a "stabilizing trend," and that margins have been improving for a number of months.

The company has also made significant investments in marketing, sales and the development of new products that it expects to generate "higher future sales as we penetrate new markets."
