Mortgage rates hit 4-month high

Rates on a 30-year fixed mortgage have climbed 6.42 percent this week, the highest point since January, according to Bankrate.com. Fifteen-year fixed mortgage rates also increased to 6.15 percent, while one-year adjustable rate mortgages increased to 6.08 percent. The roughly one-tenth of a percentage point hike comes after three months of little or no fluctuation.
