DEBORAH PENTA

, CEO of PENTA Communications Inc. in West-borough, was recently appointed to the position of vice chairperson of the Worcester Community Action Council Inc. board of directors. Penta has been on the WCAC board for the past year and has been working to help.

DAVID SANBORN

has been appointed as director of energy programs. He comes to WCAC from Community Action Inc. of Haverhill, with extensive management and direct service experience in Low-Income Heating Emergency Assistance Program and the energy efficiency programs

Worcester-based VNA Care Network and Hospice has been joined by

D. ANNE BIVINS

as vice president of the hospice. Bivins brings more than 30 years of experience in nursing and health care management to her role leading palliative care and hospice services for individuals facing life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones. She most recently served as director of quality improvement/privacy and risk management for VNA.

CORINNE CHAGNON

recently joined the Athol Savings Bank staff as a community banking officer at the convenience center branch in Athol. She has 10 years banking experience, having worked as a branch supervisor and as a customer service representative at TD BankNorth. MARY SUKOLS was recently promoted to assistant branch manager at Athol Savings Bank. She joined the bank in 1994 as a customer service representative/trainer and has worked in all eight branch locations. MARCY SILVA has joined the staff of Athol Savings Bank as community banking officer in the Winchendon branch office. Prior to coming to the bank, she worked as assistant branch manager at Clinton Savings Bank.

TIMOTHY BLANCHETTE

has been appointed general manager of Doelcam Display Inc. in Leicester. He has been with the company for 10 years in both the screen printing and digital graphics portions of the business. He will be responsible for operations, administration, new customer development and customer retention.

nurse practitioner for its Leominster facility. She has more than 30 years of experience providing clinical care to patients throughout Central Mass-achusetts.

has been appointed executive vice president of Hopkinton-based EMC, He comes to the IT giant from BearingPoint Inc. where he was CEO. Previously, he was CFO at Oracle Corp. and Accenture.

Marlborough-based Workscape Inc., has added

TONY MARZULLI

as chief marketing officer. Prior to joining Workscape, Marzulli was the senior vice president of products and marketing for Workbrain Inc.

Charlton-based Savers Bank has appointed

EILEEN PIOTROSKI

as branch manager of the Charlton office. She joined Savers Bank eight years ago as a teller. With more than 21 years of banking experience, she was previously employed by Savings Institute as branch manager.

Paxton-based Anna Maria College announced that

DENNIS BRAUN

has joined the college’s admissions team as the director of graduate and continuing education. He comes to the college from  Becker College where he was the campus manager and marketing and recruitment manager of the Accelerated Adult Education Business Program

BETH TRIAL

has been named social work manager for the Center for Psychiatry and Emergency Medicine at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester.

Clark University in Worcester has appointed TED BUSWICK as executive-in-residence within the Graduate School of Management. Buswick, also of The Boston Consulting Group, will focus on leadership and the arts.
