Fitchburg-based Workers' Credit Union has appointed PAULO DEOLIVEIRA JR. assistant vice president and branch manager for its Twin City Mall office in Leominster. Deoliveira was previously an assistant manager for Sovereign Bank. Workers' also announced that it has appointed ROBERT GALLO as vice president of business banking. Gallo has 25 years experience working as a commercial lender in North Central Massachusetts. Prior to joining Workers' Credit Union, Gallo worked with Enterprise Bank, also in Fitchburg.
MARILYN M. FREEMAN was promoted to senior executive service and was named director for the U.S Army Natick Soldier Research, Development and Engineering Center.

Worcester-based VNA Care Network and Hospice has appointed MICHAEL MORRIS as the chair for the VNA Care Network Foundation board of directors. Morris is the New England director of network services for Aetna Health Inc.
Marlborough-based Electronic Environments Corp. has hired JOE ST. GERMAIN as the company's new controller. St. Germain has more than 14 years of financial leadership and business operations experience and is a licensed CPA. Prior to this new position, he was vice president of finance and controller for Liko Inc. in Milford.
The Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences appointed MARK FULLER to its board of trustees. Fuller is chairman and treasurer of the George F. and Sybil H. Fuller Foundation and vice president of Benefit Development Group in Worcester.
DAVID PERRY has been hired by Fidelity Bank in Leominster as senior vice president/senior business banking officer. Previously, Perry retired from Unibank as executive vice president and senior lending officer.
LISA HOLMGREN has been named director of the pulmonary care unit at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester. In her new role, she will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the hospital's PCU.
