MARK ABBATE

has been appointed executive vice president and CFO of Franklin-based Strata Bank. He has more than 25 years of experience at both large and small financial institutions and in his previous positions has directed general accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, tax filings, internal control compliance, and customer information and analysis. Most recently, he worked at Resources Global Professionals in Boston where he provided project consulting leadership for companies in need of finance, accounting and risk management support, including Sarbanes-Oxley internal control review and compliance.

recently joined the UMass Memorial Medical Group and UMass Memorial Medical Center as a surgeon in the Division of Trauma and Surgical Critical Care. After receiving his medical degree from the Universidad Nacional Autònoma de Honduras in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, Torres completed his general surgery residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, N.J. Dr.

ANDREW SIBER

joined UMass Memorial Medical Group and Tri-River Family Health Center in Uxbridge. He has also been appointed as an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester. Siber, who received his medical degree from UMMS, completed his internal medicine residency at UMass Memorial Medical Center, and served as chief medical resident of the UMass Memorial Internal Medicine Residency Program. ALEKSANDER CHUDNOVSKY

, a urologist, has joined UMass. A graduate of Boston University School of Medicine, he completed a urology residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo and a fellowship in urology and andrology at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Dr.

DINESH CHANDOK

has joined UMass as an interventional cardiologist in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. He has also joined the UMass Medical School as an assistant professor of medicine. Chandok received his medical degree from the Government Medical College in India. He completed his internal medicine residency and a cardiology fellowship with interventional training at UMass Memorial Medical Center.

RIC SKINNER

has joined Tighe & Bond in Worcester as director of geographic information systems. He brings 20 years of experience to the firm and previously worked for several large electric utilities, an environmental engineering consulting company, a state health department, a large hospital and health care system, and his own independent consulting company.

Conservation Services Group of Westborough has hired

as New York City program development director. She will be responsible for policy, business development and ensuring coordination of CSG's relationships among city, state and utility groups.

Clinton Savings Bank has promoted

to electronic banking representative. Haemer most recently served as a deposit services representative. In her new role, she will perform all daily ACH balancing functions, monitor accounts, and ensure all accounts are set up according to policy and regulation. In her new role, Kleinknecht will maintain daily operations of Internet banking, while continuously supporting the organization through research, development and implementation of the bank's Internet service. Prior to this position, she was the ACH coordinator and a senior teller at Clinton Savings Bank.

Auburn-based R.H. White Construction Co. has promoted

to project executive. He will be responsible for directing multiple project management teams involved in constructing water and wastewater treatment facilities for municipal and private clients. He began his career at the company in 1993 through an internship.

West Boylston-based Corporate Environmental Advisors Inc. has appointed

as manager of business development. Shelby, who has more than 20 years experience in the environmental field, joins CEA from Charter Environmental Inc. in Wilmington where he was responsible for project management.

has joined WCRN AM 830 as news director. Over the last several years Callendar has earned a reputation as a solid reporter/anchor in Central Massachusetts. He was previously at WTAG radio.
