MATT PALMGREN has joined Worcester financial services firm Clifford & Rano Associates. He joins the firm from Raymond James, where he was a financial advisor. In his new role, Palmgren concentrates on new business development and financial advising. He is a graduate of Providence College and has a bachelor’s degree in finance, as well as a certified investment management analyst designation from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
UMass Memorial Health Care has three new doctors: Internal medicine physician Dr. ODALYS CROTEAU, neurosurgeon Dr. JUSTIN SLAVIN, and psychologist Dr. CASSANDRA SNIPES. Croteau earned her medical degree from the Brown University School of Medicine and completed her residency and fellowship at UMass Medical School. She specializes in internal medicine and sleep medicine at Sterling Family Medicine. Slavin earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center and the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. He provides neurosurgical care at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. Snipes earned her Ph.D. from the University of Nevada Reno. She completed a fellowship program at Kaiser Permanente. She specializes in health psychology at UMass Memorial’s University Campus in Worcester.
RYAN DAVENPORT, a Shirley native, has been named the vice president of ticket sales and service with the Miami Open in Florida. Davenport, a graduate of the McCormack School of Sport Management at UMass Amherst’s Isenberg School of Management, most recently served as senior director of sales with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Lynx. He has also worked in sales for the New York City FC, the New York Giants, the Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever.
MAUREEN HALLEY has joined Anna Maria College in Paxton as director of marketing communications, developing, producing and implementing marketing and communications strategies for the college. Halley spent two decades in the technology sector before moving to academia, where she was responsible for the development, production, and implementation of integrated marketing and communications strategies at Babson College in Wellesley.
MARK MUMMERT has been named assistant director of the Worcester Chorus of Music Worcester. Mummert is the cantor at Trinity Lutheran Church in Worcester, the artistic director of Diamonds from the Dust, a Worcester professional vocal ensemble, and assistant director and accompanist for the Worcester Chorus. He was the distinguished visiting cantor at the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Gettysburg, Pa. and is a professional singer with the Connecticut Choral Artists.
SARAH L. DiMILLA of Milford has joined ERA Key Realty Services’ Milford office as a Realtor. DiMilla has a bachelor’s degree in business management from Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina, and volunteers for initiatives including the Encephalitis Society and the Belle of the Ball.
KIM PELLICCIA has joined Charles River Bank as a mortgage consultant at the bank’s Bellingham office. Pelliccia’s roles include guiding homebuyers and homeowners through the mortgage financing process, providing loan pre-qualifications for those looking to purchase, and offering advice on home equity options. She has 20 years of experience and holds a business degree from Fisher College in Boston.
HEIDI COOPER, who works in marketing and communications for Lilac Hedge Farm of Holden, Davidian’s Farm of Northborough and Lettuce Be Local of Sterling, has completed the American Farm Bureau's Women's Communications Bootcamp, which trains 15 women from across the country to be stronger advocates for agriculture. In addition to her full-time work, Cooper is active with the Massachusetts Farm Bureau Federation, including serving as its Young Farmers and Ranchers Committee chair.
