RUSSELL HOOPER is now country manager, Canada at Curtis Industries, LLC in Worcester.

KEVIN PETERSSEN has joined the commercial lending team at United Bank in Worcester. He most recently served as vice president and commercial loan officer for People's United Bank for the Worcester region, where he was involved with expanding the bank's commercial portfolio and for business development in business banking and the middle market. He is a graduate of Assumption College, where he earned both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in business administration. He is a certified public accountant and worked in accounting for nearly three years before joining People's United Bank.

JOHN COLANTINO and PAMELA GENELLI both received promotions at GFA Federal Credit Union in Gardner. Colantino, who has been with the credit union for more than a year, was promoted to first vice president, chief technology officer. He has more than 16 years of experience in information services and technology management. He is a graduate of Manchester Community College in Manchester, Conn., and lives in Peterborough, N.H. Genelli, a longtime human resources professional, was promoted to first vice president, culture officer. She has held human resources positions at Wood's Ambulance in Gardner, at the Edward H. Kennedy Community Health Center in Worcester and at two different insurance companies in Central Massachusetts. She lives in Hubbardston.

PATRICIA SHERMAN was named vice president, chief operating officer at The Milford National Bank and Trust Company in Milford. In her new role, she will oversee information technology, compliance, and loan, branch and deposit operations. She has more than 30 years of banking experience, most recently as senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer at North Brookfield Savings Bank in North Brookfield. She is a graduate of the Massachusetts School for Financial Studies and lives in North Attleborough.

BRENDA WOODS joined Fidelity Bank in Gardner as vice president and branch manager in mid-August. She joins Fidelity from TD Bank in Gardner, where she was store manager. She has more than 14 years of banking experience and has a track record of great customer service to both consumer and business clients. A resident of Rindge, N.H., Woods is a member of the Gardner Chamber of Commerce and a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity.

ANTHONY R. BARTLETT, a financial planner with Baystate Financial in Worcester, was named president of the Society of Financial Service Professionals for 2016-2017, effective Sept. 1. He specializes in creating retirement and distribution strategies for people over the age of 50. He previously served as president of the Worcester FSP chapter and advises the Boston, Rhode Island and Worcester chapters. According to the Society of FSP, Bartlett's communications skills make him a frequently sought-after public speaker in the areas of advanced retirement distribution planning, estate planning and Social Security claiming strategies. He is a graduate of Springfield College, is involved with the Worcester and statewide chapters of the Estate Planning Council, and founder of the Strategic Practice Management Program, which combines best practices of time management, business planning, cashflow management, and personal and team accountability.

VERONICA HACHEY was named director of operations and human resources at Visitation House, a home for women in crisis pregnancies. She has more than 20 years of experience in organizational and community leadership, program management, human resources and client management. She joins Visitation House from Dress for Success Worcester, where she was responsible for strategic leadership and operational management of efforts to promote economic independence in disadvantaged women. She is a recipient of the Worcester Community Action Council's Action Hero Award, for her dedication to helping disadvantaged women.

STEPHEN DeMARTINO was promoted to commercial loan officer at Commerce Bank in Worcester. A graduate of Clark University, he has been with the bank since 2014, when he joined as a commercial lending trainee. He was promoted last year to the position of credit analyst.

MOYA R. MITCHELL is now a realtor-associate at Tina Bilazarian, Inc., Realtors in Shrewsbury. A Shrewsbury native, Mitchell will specialize in residential, land new construction and relocation in Worcester, Shrewsbury and the surrounding communities. She has more than 17 years of experience in real estate and 22 years experience as an inside sales manager. She lives in Rutland.

SUSAN BUCHAN and JULIE MICHALS were hired at E4TheFuture, a clean energy solutions nonprofit in Framingham. Buchan is the nonprofit's new director of state policy, where she will focus on state-level public policies that promote clean energy solutions. She joins E4TheFuture from the Energy & Environmental Building Alliance, where she was executive director. She also owned and operated an architectural firm with a specialization in environmentally responsible design. She holds a master's degree in architecture from Virginia Tech, a bachelor's from Plymouth State University and a sustainable design certificate from what is now Boston Architectural College. Michals is the new director of clean energy valuation, and will focus on improving approaches to measure and evaluate clean energy program implementation. She previously spent 14 years with Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships in various capacities and has served in governmental roles. Michals is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara and holds a master's degree in energy and environmental analysis from Boston University.

KATIE FLAHERTY is now vice president, lending compliance and community reinvestment act officer at Clinton Savings Bank in Clinton. She has been with the bank for 29 years, where she has worked as assistant vice president, lending compliance officer, among other roles. She holds a bachelor's degree from Worcester State University, a master's degree in business ethics and compliance from New England College of Business. She also serves as secretary of the Clinton Exchange Club and as grant coordinator for the CARE food pantry.

JIM BOURGEOIS and SCOTT KIROUAC both joined JM Coull, Inc. in Maynard in September. As a senior project manager, Bourgeois will oversee a 68,000-square-foot, $26-million renovation of Lowell Community Health Center – the firm's largest health care project to date. He has 30 years of experience, including previous work as a project manager at JM Coull. Kirouac, a resident of Lunenburg, is an assistant project manager who will be responsible for supporting JM Coull projects at Northeastern University and at Worcester Campus Services at UMass Medical School's Ambulatory Care Center. He has five years of field experience, and joins JM Coull from Erland Construction.

LAURIE MARIN has been hired in the department of internal medicine at Reliant Medical Group, and will see patients in the Auburn office. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and holds a medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. Marin had 10 years of experience as a hospitalist.

FRANCISCO MELON has joined Scheier Katin & Epstein P.C. in Acton as an attorney, serving clients in Worcester and Middlesex counties. In his new role, he will represent buyers and sellers in real estate transactions, establish and maintain LLCs and corporations, and provide estate planning and probate services. He has previously worked at Reynolds Law Offices and the Law Offices of Thomas J. Frain.
