DENISE DIDONATO of Killingly, Conn., has been appointed Bay State Savings Bank’s vice president and credit administration officer in Worcester. She joined the bank in April and previously served as vice president and credit administration manager at Savings Institute Bank & Trust in Connecticut. She has more than 30 years of industry experience and has also worked as vice president and small business lending manager at Bank Rhode Island and assistant vice president of small business lending at Citizens Bank of Boston.
KATHY KUKOWSKI has been named the vice president of sales and account management at Fallon Health affiliate UltraBenefits in Worcester. In this role, she is responsible for growing the business by providing new products and solutions for clients that support lowering costs and improving the well-being of members. She has 25 years of industry experience and previously worked at Pequot Health Care in Connecticut as a senior account executive. She has a bachelor’s degree from Central Connecticut State University.
MICHAEL DUFFY, an attorney at Fletcher Tilton in Worcester, has been named to the board of directors of the Better Business Bureau of Central New England. The board includes business leaders from a variety of industries in Central Massachusetts, Western Massachusetts and Northeastern Connecticut.
JOHN G. MILLER of Hardwick has been promoted to partner at the Worcester offices of the law firm Hassett & Donnelly. He has handled hundreds of cases involving premises liability, wrongful death, motor vehicle and trucking accidents, and his successes include a complex, multi-week construction defect trial and a defense verdict in a high-profile wrongful death trial involving a fatal shooting.
HEATHER SIENEL has joined The Wound Care Center at Charlton as a physician assistant. She has nine years of experience in clinical settings and most recently worked for Novikov Wellness and Skin Care in Northborough, where she managed patient care. Sienel received her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Western University of Health Science in California. At The Wound Care Center in Charlton, Sienel provides wound care, and diagnoses and treats various skin conditions.
APRIL PARZYCH of Sturbridge has been named president of the United Way of Southbridge, Sturbridge and Charlton. Parzych, an information analyst at Harrington Hospital in Southbridge, has been with the United Way board for six years and a member for 10. She was most recently the board’s vice president.
MATT MARTIN has been promoted to vice president of operations at Durable Technologies, a Worcester manufacturer. Martin was previously director of sales and marketing, and joined Durable Technologies from Worcester manufacturer VisiMark, where he worked as branch sales manager and sales representative.
CONSTANZA CABELLO is the new vice president for diversity, inclusion and community engagement at Framingham State University, effective July 15. Cabello joins Framingham State from Stonehill College in Easton, where she was assistant to the president for institutional diversity and the director of intercultural affairs. She previously served as associate director of multicultural affairs at UMass Lowell. She has a bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies from University of Connecticut, a master’s in counseling from Central Connecticut State University and a doctorate in organizational leadership from Northeastern University in Boston.
Cumulus Media has promoted three people for its Worcester radio stations 100 FM The Pike/WWFX-FM, 104.5 FM XLO/WXLO-FM and 98.9 FM NASH Icon/WORC-FM. CHUCK PERKS, who was program director at The Pike, is now the operations manager for NASH Icon. KEITH STEPHENS has been promoted from promotions director to program director for NASH Icon, and MATT HENRY, who studied communications at UMass Amherst, has been named promotions director for WXLO, WWFX and WORC-FM. Perks will continue to serve as program director for The Pike. Stephens previously worked as assistant program director and music director for sister station 94.7 WMAS in Springfield.
