New Committee Posts For Moore

Sen. Michael O. Moore (D-Millbury) has been appointed Senate chair of the Joint Committee on Higher Education.
Moore has also been appointed vice chair of the Joint Committee on Public Safety and Homeland Security.
He will also serve as a member of the Senate Committees on Ways & Means, and Post Audit & Oversight.
Moore had previously chaired the Committee on Community Development and Small Business.
The Senate Committee on Ways & Means, of which Moore is now a member, has jurisdiction over the Senate budget.
